Food here is a hit or miss but most generally the food is that pretty good. I’ve ate here a handful of times and only once was the food less than desirable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful..overall not bad of a restaurant given the price they charge.

When I first went it was good. Now it’s hit or miss. The taste of food is not good. The Mac a cheese needs help . The greens has no flavor sometimes taste like sugar and the cabbage. The limas no taste at all. The overall menu needs some touching up. An some changes on things. Need that good southern soul touch. Not bland. Needs cleaning on the outside maybe some flowers to bring folk in .

There is no place better than Joyce’s! If you know her story, you know she came from humble beginnings. the bottom line, The food and atmosphere is 10 out of 10. Vegetables make you feel like you had grandma’s house. If you haven’t been You must go. Be sure to leave a review when you do.
